樂團「滅火器」為太陽花學運創作《島嶼天光》歌曲，在影音網站YouTube已經突破110萬人次點閱，如今企劃團隊將推出英文版《Island's Sunrise》向國際發聲，歌詞已在6日曝光了。

「人民真的能夠到達你的腳踝邊嗎？有時我們只是希望我們細小的聲音至少能夠碰觸到你的皇冠。」「島嶼天光 island's sunrise」臉書粉絲專頁昨天PO出《島嶼天光》英文版歌詞《Island's Sunrise》，以「追求民主過程」為主軸，要讓全世界聽見台灣人民的心聲。
該粉絲團還提到，英文版歌詞並非直譯台語版，而是在匯集各方意見後，大家從黑夜輪班接力寫歌詞寫到早上，同時也大讚立法院外的濟南路真是「人才濟濟」。經過全新編曲填詞後，昨天下午已經公開徵選音樂人才加入錄製行列，相信不久成品就會出爐。
